CD in Digipak – our favorite among the cases

Digipak is our absolute bestseller – and it’s no wonder. It looks professional, feels luxurious in the hand and is also much more durable than the classic plastic Jewelcase (which is prone to cracking if you look at it sideways). The only downside? Well, it doesn’t work very well as an ice scraper in the car – but then again, this is a CD we’re talking about, not a multi-tool.

If you prefer a version where the disk is in a pocket instead of on a plastic tray, there is! It’s called Digifile. Prefer the disk to slide in from the side? Check out Digisleeve instead.

Printing and materials:
The Digipak is printed on sturdy 300 gram Ensocoat paper in four-color printing. Inside, we attach the disk to a transparent tray – but if you prefer a black tray, we can arrange that too, just let us know!

The board itself:
The boards are printed and UV varnished to resist scratches, sun and moisture. Do you want something extra? Maybe a silver surface for a metallic effect, or a black underside? No problem – we are happy to help you find the right solution.

Do you want a booklet?
Of course you can have it! We print in four colors on 130 grams of MultiArt Silk, and you choose whether it should be in a pocket (sleeve) or a slot.

Where is everything made?
We manufacture your disks and cases directly in our factory in Falkenberg. Expect about 5 working days production time with us – but if it’s urgent, let us know and we’ll try to speed it up!

How does it work after ordering?

Once you click “order” (don’t forget to add the cover design if you want help – but we can always add that later too!), you’ll receive an email from us with an order confirmation and a ZIP file with all the necessary info. There’s also a link where you can easily upload your audio and print files.

Music: We prefer DDP or 16-bit WAV – it gives the best results.

Registration with NCB:
Before we can print the record, you need to register your production with NCB. This is easily done online, and feel free to choose Skivfabriken as the factory – then we get the receipt directly. You can also choose to do some promo-ex without paying royalties. You can find more info at ncb.dk.

We fix the layout:
When we receive your material, we put it into our templates and check that everything looks good – bleed, placement, colors, everything like that. If there are minor adjustments, we’ll fix it, otherwise we’ll get in touch. Then we send you a proof (digitally – or physically if you prefer!).

Production & delivery:
Once you have approved the proof, we will start production. Within 5 working days everything is ready and on its way to you! Delivery time within Sweden is usually 1-2 days. Do you live abroad? Then it may take a little longer – especially if the package gets stuck in customs.

You will receive an invoice by email and you have 30 days to pay. Convenient, isn’t it?
