Manufacture of cassette tapes

Cassette tapes are back with a vengeance! After receiving several requests from customers to reprint cassettes – the classic tapes we remember from growing up in the 70s, when you had a whole collection of them – we got in touch with a British company that still operates a cassette tape manufacturing plant. The music cassette, invented by Philips and launched in the 1960s, quickly became a success and an integral part of music listening for decades. But as MP3 players took the world by storm and streaming services like Spotify took over, cassettes were forgotten. Instead of sitting at home and creating personal mixtapes of favorite songs, listening became digital and accessible everywhere. In recent years, the LP has enjoyed a renaissance, and more and more people have rediscovered the joy of listening to music in analog format. Now it’s the turn of cassette tapes to make a comeback, and interest is growing. In 2020, we delivered our first home-made cassette tapes, and the first customer was none other than the rock band Mustasch. We copied their latest album, “Killing it for Life”, to cassette and created a limited edition with a beautiful transparent case and high-quality print. Are you also interested in copying and printing cassette tapes for your band or artist? We’ll help you every step of the way – from creating the original design for the cassette case to re-mastering the audio from digital to analog, so your music sounds perfect on tape. Get in touch and be part of the return of cassette tapes!
